A crystal palace of elegant glass-stained windows, built at the beginning of the 20th Century, commissioned by Miguel de Lis, designed by Joaquín de Vargas, it is presently home to both the Art Nouveau and Art Deco museums which together house 19 decorative art collections, from the latter 19th and early 20th Centuries, donated by Salamanca resident Manuel Ramos Andrade. Of particular note is the gold and marble collection (cryselefantines) from the 1930s, the 19th Century French porcelain doll collection and the School of Nancy glass collection. Faithful reproductions of some of the artwork can be purchased in the museum shop.
